FESTIVAL OF
THE DEAD
Branding · Display & Social Campaign · Merchandise · Web Design
Bringing a festival identity to life across print, digital and merchandise.
Festival of the Dead required a flexible visual campaign that could work across multiple audience touchpoints — from promotional print and social media content to merchandise and the online ticket-buying experience.
FOTD Assets
PROMOTIONAL DESIGN
Designing the campaign beyond the main event.
I created a range of promotional materials to support the Festival of the Dead campaign, including flyers and business cards designed to communicate VIP passes, discounts and special offers to build awareness and drive ticket sales.

SOCIAL CONTENT
Keeping the festival visible across social platforms.
I developed digital content for social media, adapting the Festival of the Dead visual identity into engaging campaign graphics designed for announcements, promotions and audience engagement.

DIGITAL ADVERTISING
Extending the campaign across digital touchpoints.
I designed a suite of Google display banners in multiple formats and dimensions, adapting the festival’s visual identity and promotional messaging to create a consistent, recognisable campaign across digital advertising placements.

MERCHANDISE
The Festival of the Dead visual identity was also applied to merchandise, including T-shirts and mugs.
These applications gave the campaign a physical presence beyond promotional materials, turning the festival graphics into objects that attendees could wear, use and take away from the event.

WEBSITE EXPERIENCE
Designing the wider digital experience.
I developed wireframes and visual layouts for the Festival of the Dead website across desktop and mobile, organising event information, ticket access, festival imagery and key content into a clear, responsive experience while maintaining the campaign’s distinctive visual identity.

TICKET PURCHASE EXPERIENCE
From browsing to booking.
Alongside the wider website experience, I designed the wireframes and visual interface for a focused ticket form, balancing the festival’s expressive aesthetic with a clear, straightforward purchase journey.

Building the visual language
The ticket experience was developed from the campaign’s original visual assets, combining photography, character imagery, colour and typography to create a digital experience that felt like a natural extension of the festival identity.
